Our Direct Services Program is so excited to welcome a new Intern for the Spring 2026 Semester. Meet Bridget!

Hi, my name is Bridget! I’m a fourth-year Psychology student at Kennesaw State University, with a minor in General Women’s Studies. After graduation in the summer, I plan to pursue an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) with the goal of becoming a psychiatric nurse.

I’m an animal lover and share my home with two cats, a parakeet, and a ball python. I’m currently completing my senior capstone internship at Ahimsa House, where I help run the crisis line. I’m passionate about the advocacy work we do and feel grateful to support both people and their pets during times of crisis.
