Ahimsa House Needs Volunteers to
Staff Concession at PGA Golf Tournament
Ahimsa House needs your help to staff a concession stand at the PGA Tour golf tournament at East Lake Golf Club from September 23-28, 2008. We will sell food and drinks to the spectators, and Ahimsa House will receive eight percent of the net sales. Last year we received more than $7,000 including tips received for our rescue work.
Sign up with your friends. It will be fun, and most of all you will help Ahimsa House raise much-needed funds to help the animal and human victims of domestic violence. You will receive free parking, a meal ticket for each shift you cover, and a pass to watch the tournament before and after your shift.
The PGA Championship is one of the four major championships in men's golf, and it is the golf season's final major. Most recent winners were Tiger Wood, Phil Mickelson, and Vijay Singh.
